Created in 2007 by the engineering institute ESTIA,“The 24h of innovation®” is a 24h (non stop) challenge to develop innovative concepts of products and services, new usages, creative marketing or communication plan…

The projects and topics are proposed by companies, labs, associations and they are unveiled at the beginning of the competition. Teams are freely composed of a mix of any volunteers (students, researchers, teachers, consultants, free-lances, employees…). After 24h of development, teams present their results in a show of 3mn in front of a jury of professionals in the field of innovation. The winner teams receive the “24h of innovation” awards and the prizes offered by the sponsors of the event.

In 2012, the 24h of innovation was proud to welcome a special guest. Jeremy RIFKIN attended the 24h of innovation opening ceremony.

Key numbers of the 24h of innovation

Since 2007, the 24h of innovation had gathered 4000 participants from more than 40 different countries (Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Cameroon, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Senegal, Spain, Tunisia, UK, Uruguay, USA…). More than 70 schools and universitieswere represented among the participants’ teams that have developped 250 projects for 100 companies during the different editions in France and in others countries.
